Installation problem: Unable to register the DLL/OCX

Installation problem: Unable to register the DLL/OCX

Finally got everything downloaded, and went through the install process, but then I got this error...

C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Surfaces\VS20.dll

Unable to register the DLL/OCX: RegSvr32 failed with exit code 0x3.

Click Retry to try again, Ignore to proceed anyway (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation.

Retry isn't working.  Should I just Ignore and continue or Abort?  Does this have something to do with the server issues?

    Answer was to Ignore, as that refers to the VS20 control surface, which I don't have.

    Did you do choose to do a custom installation?

    I got the same message when installing from disk. I did a custom install and did NOT have the VS20 interface set to install - so it looks like there's a bug in the installer program.

    Like you said if you choose the Ignore option - the installation completes.
