Hi Rik. That was beautiful playing. Now, did Stonewall Jackson somehow inspire this piece, or did you just decide to name it after him? Can you name the next one "Longstreet"? ;) Really nice work man!

Hi Bob, thanks, i composed this piece years ago while I was watching that famous Ken Burns documentary "The Civil War" . I wanted to "depict" a cavalry charge and as the episode featured Stonewall Jackson and his unfortunate death, Stonewall seamed an appropriate title. Also after composing it I hit a "stone wall"trying to play it as I heard it in my head ; )

    Rik,

This is awesome.   For some reason it reminds me a bit of Jimmy Page's acoustic stuff (except for the intro and outtro bits)  Very entertaining.

Great tone, man.  Love the fingerpicking patterns.  Did I mention great tone, clear and bell like.  Very nice.

My band used to do Dixie in a MINOR key as the intro to Neil Young's  "Southern Man".  Always cool!
