I said to this girl, "Did you know the Argentine blue-bill duck has, for its size, the largest penis of any vertebrate, over half its body length?"

"Get out of here," she said.

"It's true," I replied. "And did you know that the blue whale ejaculates around five gallons of sperm?"

"No, get out of here," she said again. "This is the ladies toilets, you feckin' pervert."

That would be what we call a Whale of a Tale there Mike!

Just think of what all of you would have missed if you took the hints of the Captain's wife and didn't go (she probably wanted him to do some work around the house - lol!).

    Wow!  Nice story.  Any pics?

I took a bunch but I haven't had any time to do more than confirm they were in focus and get them archived so I can clear the cards for more. :-)

When we get back next week I'll start working with them.

I tried to balance the time between getting some pics and just watching in amazement.

    best regards,
    mike

Cool, I'll look forward to them.

Sounds like you are having a whale of a trip. I am glad.

I have never seen a whale... except in a can with gravy. Taste like beef. Got it in Canada. That is also where I learned to have vinegar on my fries. Have fun Mike, post some pics when you get back. Maybe you have some movies you can put in X3 and put to music for us... personally, I'd really like that. You should go to Boston, rent a boat, go out, and get called googans, lol. Livin' large!!

Nice story. My daughter and I saw 3 black bears with a Momma crossing our road (we were in a car) a month ago.

I love seeing Whales... that's an amazing story. When I was a kid, my dad would row me and bro and sis 3 miles (long way to row) to a 1/2 tide rock... (rock only out of the water at 1/2 tide and below) where the seals would sun themselves. You have to time it so the Rock is out of the water... and rowing for hours we approach so slowly they aren't scared of us. ...

Except for the 1 that almost jumped into our boat.... It surfaced fast to check us out right at the edge of the hull and scared the pee out of me. Thing was bigger than I was! Whole damn thing was above the gunwale.

This was in Frenchman's bay near Bar Harbor over behind Calf Island (places you may now know, Mike).

    Right about here...

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.
