Well, that was very beautiful and sounded great. I hope your not leaving forever, and like timidi, I don't care what software you use either. I use several different software myself (when I actually play my instruments). But, know this, you will be missed very much.

    Rik,

    Very nice as always.

I would second Timidi's comment, I don't think anyone cares what software you use as long as you are posting your work.   My view of the song's forum is that it is a place to get reviews on performance, song quality (if original), collaborative efforts, mixing and recording quality.   To that end, comments are valid regardless of the software used.   I find your playing and recordings very enjoyable and don't particularly care which tools you use to get there.

All I can do is echo the sentiments above.
    1.  You have done a beautiful job on this song.
    2.  I also do not care if you are using Sonar or not.  I have enjoyed your posts an would hope that you continue posting.

Fully echo all the comments here. Romance is stunningly beautiful, as is all your music. We make music both because we can and because Sonar gave us the tools to make that music shine. That people may move on from Sonar does not belittle the fact that we are only creating music today because in the beginning, there was Sonar. We are and always will be children of Sonar. DON'T GO. PLEASE. This Forum will be the poorer for your absence.

Rik, it would be such a shame if you disappeared from this forum we'd miss beautiful pieces like this. There are other people posting here that don't use Sonar, I wouldn't let that stop you. Music needs to be heard, hang the software.

    Hi, Rik,

Ah, yes, I remember this.  This is one of my all time favorites from you, with beautiful tone and tasty playing, and you also managed to capture all of the incredible detail of the excellent finger work that you always display on your songs!

Wonderful piece of music, Rik, stick around, my friend, because we'll truly miss your amazing talent!

    Best Wishes!
