Cool guitar playing Rik. This song reminds of nights I have spent in Paris in a plaza near the the cathedral Sacre- Coeur. Plaza du Tertre as I recall. Many Gipsy guitar players who play in this style. Lovely music.

I guess this could be call "cafe" music of Europe in general. I really like you song and I also wish I could play like that.
    Great job Rik.
Fun to hear first thing this morning.

    Best Wishes,

Rik...amazing guitar work... the music carried me to Mexico. But also, as a learner, wanted to ask if the Spanish and Mexican guitar work are different.

Hi Kane, thanks, glad you like it. In Europe this kind of music is mostly associated with the gypsies from the south of France, especially the Gypsy Kings . I don't know about mexican guitar work but this is more gypsy than strictly speaking Spanish guitar work . And anyway I'm just improvising ; )

Okay Rik. Yeah, I've heard of the Hotel California by GK. Listening to your track, must say you really have a grip on this genre.

Yep, got this old worn out body butt bouncing in the chair this morning.  That's a good thing.  I liked it from the beginning.  Liked the percussion diddy in the intro.  Just a nice well played butt bouncin' tune, Rik.

    Rikkie,
Wow, beautiful tune and wonderful guitar playing.  I love Flamenco style guitar.  The mix was superb on this one and the guitars were very well tracked.  Nice job!!

OK, that was really cool.    Great feel from the arrangement, and the playing is of course spot on.   I didn't hear the original version but the guitar in the later version sounds good here.   Very fluid too...
