    Hi John,thanks ; ),  no amp-sim, I use a boss micro br 80 recorder which has some guitar effects in it and in Sonar I use the nomad valvedriver , nomad compressor and the pc eq wih a giant spike around 2k.

    You really coaxed some great tone with a somewhat minimalist rig out of that ovation.  It's good to know because I have one, too.  The song just took me to the dark side of the moon.  That's some tasty noodles!
