This is really fun.  My mom used to say she didn't like Sondheim because none of his songs were quite memorable, this is the opposite of that, melodic and exotic.  I'm glad you didn't spin off into some wild gypsy-guitar scales, this is sweet as-is.  Is that a nylon guitar with peizo?

Fantastic track.   A lot of your runs remind me of Les Paul's style in this tune.  Very enjoyable listen.

This is great.  I close my eyes and see...

A bottle of wine, a loaf of bread, a brick of cheese, my sweet lover, and this song.  Heaven!

    really lovely Rik -
My only criticism, I found myself wanting less reverb on the lead but that's a personal taste thing - performance and melody are excellent

Not crazy about this particular genre, but, as always, Rik, just extraordinarily well played.

I like it for what it is and really well done!
But my head keeps telling me... Start out with part of this then hit it up into a rock arrangement with words… then fade back into the original and fad away... (Just Me) Vocal Theme... future mets past... and in the end... they are the same kind of thing...

    Peace to all…
