It said so in the e-zine, but when I tried to update it, it was the same version.

One thing I noticed immediately is Tungsten's top folder line is a separate color now (default: blue). This is reflected as a an editable item in Theme Editor. There may be more, but I'm not sure as I haven't had time to go through the whole thing.

What heading is that under? Version 1.1.0.23 was released on Aug 23, 2016 and is the current version shown in my account. 1.1.0.22 was released with update 2016.08. If you've noticed, rolling updates don't occur every month, but when a month is missed the following month usually gets 2 updates.

Track view, Folder Name Text. I'm not sure if it was there before and not utilized or if it's brandy-spanking new. I think it's the latter, but I could be wrong....

Sorry I wasn't clear, it's not that there's a new update for the Theme Editor, but that Platinum owners should download the latest version. It's for the same reason I advise people in every issue to download the latest version of the Command Center. If you already have the latest version of either one, you don't need to download it again.

Weird! There's no blue top folder line that I can tell. There's no blue anything. If you're referring to something within a track folder, I don't see it. Tungsten Track View Folder Name Text shows blue (53D5FF) in TE but is actually whitish (DBF5FF) in Sonar. Change it to pink in TE and save then load new theme in Sonar and it's still whitish (unchanged). TE TEXT Edits: TV Folder Name Text= does not work TV Bus Name Text= Bus Name Text AND Folder Name Text TV Unfocused Track Text= All Value Slider Text AND Folder Value Text AND Browser Text and NO Unfocused Track Text TV Audio Track Name Text= works TV MIDI Track Name Text= works TV Instrument Track Name Text= works These are the same inconsistencies found with Duckbar and reflect how colors are managed within Sonar's EXE file. Fixing it will probably require recoding.

Okay, now I'm confused. If no one else is seeing this, then what did I just edit? (I changed the color from blue to match all the colors I did for all the themes I've done so far; I'm not sure if this change is worth posting, however). Why do I have the vague suspicion that Rod Serling is lurking around here somewhere?

I have no idea whether this is related to this topic whatsoever, but make sure you're not using any customized colors (CLR file) which can override the theme setting.

I have changed no colors within Sonar for this test, only TE. Preset is "Normal".

Here is a screen shot. The five red arrows point to the altered Folder Name Text. I changed it in Theme Editor from a Robin's Egg blue to a deeper blue to match the color in my theme Tungsten Deep Blue. Hope this helps. BTW, I've changed the Folder Name Text in all my themes to match the accent colors (green, red, purple, etc.). I won't be posting them, however, as I think it's too minor of a change to upload and bother Elffin.

Anybody else reporting TE not opening? Mine still doesn't work after latest update. I posted in problem reports last month but no responses...

Not on my end (the link is coming from Dropbox and is visible from the forum mail). Not sure what else to say. Good luck!

Cause you're logged into you dropbox account? All I see is a broken link icon. Onedrive did the same thing to me, I could see the pic in my post but no one else could. I quit using Onedrive because they changed their direct link behavior making it impossible to post one. I now use Photobucket. If I copy the link from the broken link icon I get this page: https://photos-4.dropbox....8x1536&size_mode=3

The only changeable colors associated with the TV Folder Control Pane found with Duckbar in X3 are: <EXEColor Location="C55493" Default="6C6C6C" Description="TRACK | Folder | Data Screen | Line (-)" Color="6C6C6C" /> <EXEColor Location="C55598" Default="6C6C6C" Description="TRACK | Folder | Data Screen | Line (|) center" Color="6C6C6C" /> <EXEColor Location="C554F3" Default="6C6C6C" Description="TRACK | Folder | Data Screen | Line (|) left" Color="6C6C6C" /> <EXEColor Location="C5563D" Default="6C6C6C" Description="TRACK | Folder | Data Screen | Line (|) right" Color="6C6C6C" /> <EXEColor Location="C4F981" Default="6C6C6C" Description="TRACK | Folder | Data Screen | Name Text" Color="6C6C6C" /> <EXEColor Location="C7A979" Default="2C2C2C" Description="TRACK | Folder | Name Screen" Color="2C2C2C" /> Other lines that were found affect all TV tracks so this is very interesting. Unless I'm missing what you're talking about altogether.

OK so I guess I misunderstood. Sorry for the confusion. Apparently when you said "top folder line" I thought you meant a literal line, as in "_____". And YES the text color was there all along. But in my TE (1.1.0.23) it's not under Folder Text as it should be, that selection is broken. Folder Text is actually changed with "Bus Name Text". post #8 TE TEXT Edits: TV Folder Name Text= does not work TV Bus Name Text= Bus Name Text AND Folder Name Text TV Unfocused Track Text= All Value Slider Text AND Folder Value Text AND Browser Text and NO Unfocused Track Text TV Audio Track Name Text= works TV MIDI Track Name Text= works TV Instrument Track Name Text= works
Again, sorry for the confusion.
