Can my old Kontakt 5 license be installed on a computer without having to connect to the internet?

Is the internet only policy just for the current licenses or is for all licenses?

I used Kontakt 5, for the first time in a long while, on my last project and I am wondering what I will do when I commission my next DAW and need to either install Kontakt or find a substitute that lets me keep my DAW offline.

    1.  Don't know.  NI now has a "service" like CCC that keeps track of all your purchases and lets you download them.

    2.  Ask NI, but you would have to get on the internet.

I downloaded Kontakt 5.3 from the NI website (legacy plugins) and put it on an external drive. Works fine when I need to backtrack.
