103 degrees in Chicago heat advisory
so the talk is the heat today .. 103 with humidity ... Suppose to feel 110 ..stuff like that ..
But I am training again for the Chicago marathon....I gotta train in the heat right?
So the plan is to stick 5 or 6 ice packs in my shorts and strap it in tight with rubber bands or elastic or something ...
That will keep me cool....
But the bonus is as the ice is melting ...it will cause steam from the heat ... And I can yell "choo chooooo" as I am running and it'll look like I am a train.
So as I excercise I will also be entertaining my neighborhood
That's my plan for today
Whadday think about that?

It seems like a well thought out plan. Good luck with it. Just issue a public warning not to breathe the vapours and you'll be good to go.

I think you need a different plan. I would never have thought of that.....never. When I hit the "post message" it'll all be over. With a plan like that it could all be over for you too.

107 here that last two days.
Last year at this time it was that high or higher for 10 days straight.
Up down around those temps until September.

I'm sitting in air conditioning today. I'm making sure to drink lots of cool water with lots of ice so I can stay hydrated. Whenever possible, I'm rolling on my chair instead of walking. I'm taking frequent breaks to rest as well.

Nope just saw on the news and checked the weather channel ...all 90 degrees heat until Friday July 6th.....with practically Scattered t storms each day ...including Saturday ... Who ever told ou ALL day ..lied ..... Pass on the truth to that source
