+10db David Bendeth Release

Can any of the Bakers say when this will be released,
and maybe a heads up on pricing?  Inquiring minds would
very much like to know so as not to "jump the gun" Mother
Superiior...

AFAIK the prochannel will be available to those who purchased the bundle at no additional cost.

That's what the developer told me by email.
I actually only bought the compressor, didn't need or want the eq.

    Same here.
I know it shouldn't matter, but I think it could win prizes for looks - hats off to the UI designer!

It's currently on special for $99 on the devs website including the ProChannel version when released. It would be cruel to hold off and Sonar release it at a higher price or buy it now from developer and then Cakewlak sell it cheaper to Sonar users.

    What to do?

Which bundle is swamptooth referring to? I'm not getting the CW newsletter still (?!), though I thought I got it squared away while getting my Products Page sorted via feedback.
Is it a ProChannel and therefore included with Platinum or not?

It's a third party developer plugin that will be available as a pro channel module add on so not included with platinum.

I think he is talking about this bundle:

    http://www.bozdigitallabs.com/product/10db-bundle/

As you can see its $99 and probably will include OR you will get the prochannel item when its ready .. thats if you purchase the 10db bundle in that link of course ..

All ProChannel inquiries should go here now instead of the Sonar Forum!  Got it!
    Thanx FH and Cakewalk!!!

Or maybe it's only 3rd party ProChannel Module inquiries go HERE in software and
all others go in the Sonar Forum. (even though there is already a thread about this
    here)

So if we have a question about a Cake PC Module we can ask that in the Main forum,
BUT if it's about Boz, or Softube, or Overloud PC Modules then that should go here?

    I'm confused....

    This just keeps getting better!

    Thanx!

I was missing out on the News Letters for a long time, read something somewhere here that if you Email sends cake messages to spam, or flags them as spam, that you will stop getting them somehow, something like that, and that you needed to contact Cake to sort it out again. I tried re subscribing but that didn't work, the same thread I was talking about said it wouldn't, so I just subscribed with another of my Email addresses making sure it wouldn't be marked as spam, now I get the Cake Emails again.

    I did the demo...this is a nice sounding Compressor/EQ...

I'm not going to be a happy camper if Cake wants more
then the current $99 if I miss this sale...IJS...

My HOPES are that THIS is the BIG SURPRISE we were/are supposed to get, and
it's FREE for Platinum users....but most likely, if it IS free, it will be "tied" to Sonar...like the BT Bundle is...
but one can hope that it's not...

If we get it free I'll be amazed... (and ecstatic

I think one of the hosts said that...but they're not Cakewalk...
Could be a play on words...as, with Artist and Professional it would not be free...
only with Platinum....again pure speculation (and hopefulness...LOL)

If it's not free....and comes in at $99 or under I'll be in too...from the Demo
it sounds really good...but if it's more I won't buy it just on principle...especially
if the sale is over at Boz...

I just wish they'd say so we could make a choice...money is tight...and
playing these silly guessing games get's on my nerves....but, what doesn't

I believe it was a cake person, saying that because it was a 3rd party product it would not be able to be included with the membership/update/extra features thingy, and therefore would not be free

I mention that in a thread about this...that it was 3rd party so probably not under their "umbrella".
I don't recall a Cake person commenting about it at all in these threads.  The forum hosts did,
but I stay pretty busy so may have missed it...

Only about an hour left to get the sale price at Boz...tic toc tic toc

So Larry got me nervous last night with all the tic toc, tic toc.  Given that the ProChannel element will be provided for previous purchasers and the unknown of the price, I've opted for thinking that Cakewalk and Boz probably will sell the ProChannel version at about the same price as the discount that was expiring last night.

I decided to go for the Boz version out there presently and just await the ProChannel piece.

I've been playing with it today.  I know people will say, yeah, if you just bought it you'll probably say it sounds good.

Guess what?  It sounds really good.  The Boz effect sounds great in fact.  Not sure how or if the ProChannel version will pull off the benefit you get of the channel strip that feeds the EQ into the Compressor.  It's really cool how that combo makes a punch on the sound.  I'm suspecting the ProChannel version would be a single piece of the effect, like the Compressor piece only offered in the ProChannel.

Anyway, just thought I'd pass on that it's definitely worth looking at it you're thinking about it.  I'm very satisfied.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

I did the demo lawa...and I completely agree...it is easily worth the money...
To me, just the interface is worth the money.  That's one really nice looking plugin IMO.

I'm holding out to see what shakes out...we shall see,
but if it's more I will not be a happy camper.  If it's the same
or less then I'd like Cake to get "some" of the money...

    Look at this plugin....

you have to admit...that's a nice interface...I know some are into the "new and modern" look,
but this looks like "hardware"...NICE hardware.

I can't post the pic of the PC Module, but it's here about the bottom left of the page...
