I made a tube "pin-up" just for fun once, back when my I was learning 3d illustration and my friend Buster Makinson and I were frivolously dreaming of making a line of tube amps. I needed some practice with glass and refraction parameters so I made an imaginary tube:  When I mainetenanced my friend Pete's U47 microphone last year, I made a "pin up" photo of it as well:  As usual the pictures are shrunken on the forum display... you can view the images in a new tab or window to see the full size "pin-up". :-) best regards, mike

Wow, Karyn 's got some nice Mullards. No wonder I can't find good tubes, McCue has them all. lol. The ones listed on www.Tubedepot.com , don't look nearly as well made.

I used to have a nice (but MUCH smaller) collection of interesting tubes, including a killer Mullard EL34, but they all went with my Univalve...

I just went through the whole tube replacement thing with my Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue. The 12AX7's that came with the amp were color coded as rejects by groove tube. Thanks Fender.
