1st impressions after few hours of work

My first impression is positive, even if the upgrade price was a little bit high. I like Ara integration and it seems that melodyne is working very well. Ok for color customization and browser. Very, very good are the EQ zoom and the tape simulator!!!
I still have a problem had on X2. If I click on any part of bus console, when a waves plugin is inserted on, sonar freezes. I just posted this to the support. I think that if I clean X2 from my pc everything would be solved, but I don't want to loose the x2 featured plugins no more in x3...

I think that I'll perform a clean installation this afternoon. Hope it solves this

    You double posted this.

I looked at it and cannot reproduce.

I would look at updating graphics drivers. Typical such fenomena.

Sorry, I can't help with your question, but maybe you can answer one for me.  You mentioned you were concerned about losing plugins from Sonar X2 when installing X3.  Can you name some plugins that you believe you would be losing?

The reason I am asking:  I bought X2 but never installed it.  I have been using X1.  If I instlall X3 without first installing X2, will I be missing some worthwhile plugins contained only in X2?

Thanks in advance, and hope you find an answer to your question.

Well. I performed a clean install after X2 uninstall. I lost only the prochannel modules that I had to reinstall.
On X3 now I can see all of my third part plugins or instruments.
Lost only Lexicon pantheon 1 (but I own pantheon II).
According to new X3 plugins browser look, it's a good thing to re-organize a new plugin layout. You can recognize 32 bit, vst3, vst2 and this can help the production process.
    Hope it helps...

    Thank you Mike. It's true.
By the way V-vocal has non sense because of its "phasing behaviour" . Melodyne solves every problem.
I've never used Rmix. I prefer using other kind of  filters.
    Apologize for this omission

So you are saying that even thought both X1 and X2 have V-vocal, that you will only lose it if upgrading directly from X1, but not from X2?

It would be good to have if you want to rework previous projects using V-Vocal.
