2 - Atlantis A.D. (TV show - music preview)

An idea that came to me yesterday so it's a bit of a rough sketch.

    Wow, you wrote and recorded this yesterday?  That fact is as impressive as the song itself.  You've written something that is very cinematic in scope, and could have come from Ben Hur or some other Cecel B. DeMille epic.  Or, the rise of Atlantis.  This song could go on and on, but I'm glad it ended where it did because it left me want more instead of less.  The theme is quite lovely and haunting.  BTW, your producer and director did a bang up job on those credits ;)

    Hey Lynn, thanks! Glad you like it :)

    It only took two days to record because it's a very very simple theme. There are basically two themes and they sort of join together / intertwine at one point. And the orchestra accompaniment is very basic as well. In essence there isn't much going on, but keeping it simple kinda works sometimes :)

    It sounded very professional to me.  I thought it would be great with a video or as a movie soundtrack.  Like so many instrumentals I began to fade as it went on, not that it wasn't good, just that I need more excitement to listen to an instrumental, or something to watch as it plays.  Everyone did a really nice job on this one.
