2 Monitors in X2
Hi friends! I'm trying to use 2 monitors with X2. Everything is working, but on the 2nd (and much bigger) monitor, which I want to use for the mix view, what I'm getting is a much bigger version of what I would get on my regular monitor if I had the mix view there. What I want is to be able to see a lot more tracks and the entire strips etc., not just the same thing but huge. What am I not doing right? Thanks.

the resolution of your monitors are set to the same size, you need the larger one set to a larger resolution, BTW You can't use fullview mode when 2 monitors are different resolution. (Last i heard anyway) This is not a setting in SONAR but rather a setting in windows, just right click on desktop and choose screen resolution.

The larger on was set at its max resolution, but what I get is just a huge version of the same amount of tracks I would get on the smaller one. What's fullview?

Sorry I meant "Full Screen" What res do you have each monitor set at, if they are both the same, then you will just get the same thing on the larger on only larger.

They're set at different resolutions, each one at its highest possible. I thought by doing this I would get to see more stuff on the big monitor, but I see the same amount of stuff just bigger.

That's exactly what you should see, higher resolution= more screen real estate have you then monitors see to "extend these displays" (again in wndows, resolution settings, under multiple displays)? Again, what resolution are you using on each monitor?

higher resolution= more screen real estate Yeah That's what I thought, but for some reason it's not happening. I'm not in front of the setup right now so I'm gonna have to get back to you on the resolution for each. Thanks for your help.

I'm pretty sure you would see the same thing as you would in a smaller monitor, it's just BIGGER.
