2017.01 PRV Active track not switching velocity

In PRV ... notes - "show velocity on active track only" is selected.
However I am now seeing after upgrading from 2016.10 that changing the active track in the right-hand column is not showing the velocities for that track.
Selecting any new track in the right-hand column is also not changing the active track as far as the view inside of the PRV is concerned.
Another way to say it might be that the previously chosen note from another track is still selected and showing its velocity.
Changing to any other track in the right-hand column does not deselect that note or show the velocities for the track I have just selected.

In fact I was very used to relying on the way that it used to work before this update.

Can anyone else confirm this Behavior?

Is it possible that I'm missing a new setting somewhere that I haven't checked?

However if this is new and intended behavior then it it is a definite slow down to the workflow.

Update:

Closing and rebuilding the prv with the multiple tracks I have in there seems to solve the problem.
But I'm not sure for how long because I have seen this behavior a few other times since the update.
