    Thanks Bapu! :)

Don't think I can find 3, though. I must have bought every EZX that had the word Ludwig in it, already...

I only have the Nashville Kit & DFH. I'm planning on getting the Americana.
Any suggestions on some other good kits?

I have Americana, Nashville, Vintage Rock, The Classic, Latin Percussions and Metalheadz.

My favorite still is Nashville. Vintage Rock is very cool too. MH will have its use once I get back to working on my own material.

I could probably live w/o The Classic.

I could definitely live w/o Americana - it sounds great but isn't my style and it can't really be forced into something I like. (I like big fat drums w/ lots of ambience.)

Mesh - I love the Latin and Twisted kits and use them frequently in conjunction with other standard drums.

the Vintage Rock Brushes & Sticks has been a big help on some projects as well.

I agree the Nashville kit is the best. The Pop/rock kit second best. Vintage is OK - but oddly enough if I want to use a vintage rock kit I opt for the old zep wet kit in session drummer 3. But hell - just get as many kits as you can afford as they come with midi files and can always be used for something.

I think what I like the best about the Vintage Kit is the bundled loops. lol It isn't a big rums like the big drums I usually use w/ tons on ambiance, but it's got a nice retro Ludwig sound. Wouldn't work on as many thing as the Nashville though.

Seriously - I dig the Vintage Kit and its loops simplicity. As with most of the ones sold by Toontrack. By comparison, the ones in Steven Slate are strictly unusable for me - it's frickin' lead drums.

If you already own Nashville (which is great), I would take a look at Americana, Vintage Rock , the Classic and if you are into Jazz, then the Jazz kit.  Those four kits are the EZX kits I use most often (+ Nashville), and I have no regrets other than having bought them last month when they were @ $29 a piece--still a great deal.

you can also buy MIDI loop packs from toontrack on their website as well as buy MIDI loops from smartloops or groovemonkee and they're all relatively reasonablely priced.

    Ja.

I got all of Toontrack's MIDI. Most of them came with the EZXs, but they have additional MIDI packs as well. The Songwriters series is excellent as are the Odd Time signatures. I did get me some groovemonkee recently and I will get me some more soon.

there weren't 3 EZX's I wanted, only 1 left really I would like to have and it's not a "must have" IMO.

but I did take advantage of the $79 Music City.  I already had NY VOL 2, but didn't have MC.  it's on the way now!

I got the Americana EZX last time. I love the sizzly ride and I feel that the kit sits easier in most of my mixes than most of the Toontrack kits, where I often find myself fighting to get the right balance of 'smack' and 'ooomph' of each drum.

I wish the Americana sessions was available as an SDX (like Nashville EZX to Music City SDX) though, since I miss having all the different articulations and mic bleed...

Apparently the sale lasted more than 24 hours...just before I went to bed last night I happened to check and sure enough if you put 3 in your cart and used the code, it still worked.

I thought "I'll pick three out first thing tomorrow morning and make a purchase"

Lesson learned....if you want something...don't put it off....This morning, the code is no longer valid!  Doh!!
