Hi Can you help! I downloaded the demo, installed as a synth, but could not seem to get it to work. Am I right in installing Kirnu as a synth? Sorry to ask but there does not seem to be any installation info in the manual etc. I am running Sonar x1 64bit in Windows 7. Cheers Nigel

You need to enable Midi out on Kirnu, then set the midi input of a synth to Kirnu. You also need to enable Echo On on both the synth and Kirnu. There's a video somewhere that shows up if you enter Kirnu and Sonar

This is a really good ARP and I was impressed with its useability since the original version. One of the few free gems that's very good. I also had to watch jhart's video to sort out the routing. Thanks for the presets!!

Thanks - I must have been having a bad day and forgotten to tick midi out! Not near the studio at the moment, soon as I am I'll give it another try. Cheers Nigel

For those that don't necessarily want the Beta of Kirnu check out the site directly here for the latest stable (release) versions. http://www.artovaarala.com/

Now that is useful Jon. I installed the Beta about 7/8 weeks ago and it made my system unstable so I removed it. Hopefully they've sorted this aspect of it out.

What kind of problem did you face? I have been using it since last couple of week and have not noticed anything weird. In fact, the presets were also made on the beta. I'm not having any luck with the presets. Where do they go and how do I load them? I've tried several different ways with no luck.

You have to load them one at a time using the load preset option shown in the image below. I know it's painful but there is no other sophisticated preset mgmt system available in Kirnu atm. MrMook I'm not having any luck with the presets. Where do they go and how do I load them? I've tried several different ways with no luck. Have you tried the stable version 1.2.1? Did it resolve your issue? Bristol_Jonesey satyatunes What kind of problem did you face? I have been using it since last couple of week and have not noticed anything weird. I am loading the presets as described and using 1.2 (Stable) for Win 64. I have sound when I load Kirnu. When I load any preset I get no sound. However, when I load the INIT from the presets the sound returns. Not sure what is going on. Maybe I should try 1.1 for Win 7 64? Mook-
