3 different sound cards????

Hello,

Currently I have Two sound devices in my PC. I have a TurtleBeach Montego DDL (installed WDM drivers only) for gaming and watching DVDs (connected to 5.1 speakers). I also have a MOTU 828MKII (installed ASIO drivers only). I'm thinking of getting the ProjectMIX as both a control surface and plus my 2 friends have the DigiRack 002R so it would be nice to get M-Powered version of protools down the line. I'm wondering if i would have any performance/sound quality problems if i wanted to have both the Motu 828 MKII (mostly because it has more ins/outs then projectmix) and the ProjectMix connected on my PC?

Thanks!

Sounds like a good combination to me.

I have no experience of multiple firewire audio interfaces on a pc but have successfully run 3 pci audio interfaces in one pc in the past.

As long as you connect them together correctly and, if you're running digital between them, make sure you have them synced with one set as master and others as slaves you should be good to go.

I've got 3 soundcards in my music PC right now, and no issues.

If you run into grief, maybe you could look into setting up hardware profiles.

    M-Powered ONLY works with M-Audio cards....hence the name M-POWERED
