Well I used mine to purchase Reaktor Spark. The only problem is on checkout the website had a weird time out error, and I don't think my order completed correctly. I got my confirmation from paypal, but nothing from Native Instruments with my serial number and download link. Damn you NI! I love your products, but hate your website.

I also got this $30 coupon and I only have the Kontakt 4 free player which I really haven't spent enough time on. In making a decision over the different synths NI has, does it matter which Free player I use (Kontakt, Kore, Reaktor etc..) in regards to limitations/ease of use? I'm trying to decide between: 1) Machine Drum Selection 2) Massive Threat 3) FM8 Transient Attacks 4) Kontakt Sax & Brass All opinions are appreciated!!

I think the Sax and Brass are limited to the Kore player. The Transient Attacks and Massive may be might be limited to the Kore player as well. One thing you can do is go to the Page that shows all the products and as you click each one look for " more info " that should give you the Demos as well as the requirements for each package which will include which player is compatible. I ended up getting the REACTOR SPARK for my voucher. I'm not a big fan of bleeps and blorps and distorted types of synth sounds but this thing looked like it could do a lot of interesting sound design. If you haven't gotten the KORE Free player, I'd recommend it. Lots of interesting sounds come with it if you get both of the free sound packs for it. Very simple straight up interface, and you get some minimal tweakery with all the sounds.

I actually did check each products "more info" and I probably didn't phrase my question properly. What I'm not sure of is do the Free Kore & Reaktor Players have any limitations like the Free Kontakt 4 Player (timing out (editing) after 15 minute usage)? Are there different or similar limitations with the other Free Players? I suppose I should prolly go to NI's site & research this as most of you have the full version....

I ended up getting Prism......and had no problems with the download/purchase process. I also downloaded all the free players (Kore, Reaktor, Komplete) as they also might be useful in making future purchases.

Actually.... the whole Reactor/ Spark /Micro prism package is really intriguing. Insanely manipulative sounds in there. There's a lot of bang there for $ 29.00

The Kore Player and Reactor Player don't have any time outs as far as I can tell. The Kontact 4 player doesn't time out on me . I'm not too clear on all the limitations though... I think the Kontact 4 DEMO does time out.

(Basically, you just need 1)......all you're missing is Battery from NI and that should fulfill your goal.......once you get that, you can do a techno/trance song & finally complete your other goal of doing all genre's of music!

Tweeg Glyn Barnes I got Rammfire, its proving to be a nice addition to my Guitar Rig 4 Essentals. No problems with the ordering process here. I got Rammfire at the end of November...man is it awesome. Oh, great now you tell me! :) I was debating between Rammfire and True Strike Tension and ended up getting TST 'cause I wasn't sure if Rammfire was filling a void that may or may not been missing from the line up of amps included with Guitar Rig essentials. Good to hear that it's good. I'll probably still get it. Incidentaly , for anyone who is considering True Strike Tension, I can only say that it was well worth the money. Had I gotten it first I probably would have skipped Stormdrum 2 which proved to be a bit of a dud for four times the price of TST.
