32 Bit Sound Font won't load in CbB

I've got a sound font I want to load into a project with CbB and it won't load.  I suppose it's because it is 32 bit and CbB is 64 bit. I confirmed this when I tried to go back to my X1 64 bit and it also wouldn't load.  Appears to only work in X1 32 bit.  
 
Is there a work around for this?  I searched on "32 bit sound font" and only found a couple of threads that were a few years old. 

SFZ+ (32 bit) does seem to have an issue loading SoundFonts (in CbB anyway: "No memory available..."); the more basic SFZ (64 bit) seems to work fine.  Actually, sfz+ seems to have a problem in 32 bit SONAR too!
