32-bit DXIs...?

So I just got my nice new DAW from ADK and I'm starting the long process of NI installs. So far I just have Sonar X1 PE 64-bit installed. Haven't made up my mind whether to install it in 32-bit or not. The question is what to do about the NI stuff. Some of the older plugins like Vokator are 32-bit only and have DXi versions. I used to install both cos sometimes DXi worked better than VST and I always had both flavors of Sonar installed. I may yet end up doing that, but I want my base install to gave just 64-bit X-1 cos of some weird stuff that happened with the plugin manager when I had them both installed on my laptop. It may not be logical, but my gut says it's better not to have to rerun the whole NI install from disk if I need DXi's. it would install old versions over new ones (standalones, at least), I'd have to re-update, and that sounds like it could mess up the registry. So the question is do I install just the VSTs, or install the DXi's too and let them sit there harmlessly until I install 32-bit Sonar if needed.

Let them sit there harmlessly. You never know when you might have to switch back to the 32 bit version for something.

Thanks. That was my first thought too; just needed input. :)
