    Wow.... I remember where I was on that day.... 

    It's one of those things that is hard to forget.... because today is also the 237th birthday of the USMC. 

    On that overcast gray day, I was stationed at Camp LeJeune.  

    10th Marines Regimental HQ Battalion, 2nd MarDiv

    Ooooh Raaaah   and Semper Fi....  

    and God rest the souls of the men who died that day on the lake.

    Nice take - love the radio vocals.  Spooky.  And good choice to start w/ the lead - most identifiable bit of the song.  Just cut to the chase.  Oh, and good playing/recording.

    And here I thought the best version was the Butthole Surfer's live version.
