Hey man I really like it! It's very professional sounding and has a really lively and energetic feel to it. Also, you have a good voice. The only thing I would say is that if anything the guitar stuff could be even louder at some points (in comparison to the drums and the vocals which sound very clear). I like how the song isn't too fussy or too long. It's got a clearly defined theme and it sticks to it and ends when it should. I listened the whole way through without feeling like 'when's this going to end,' which is how I feel when I listen to some songs. So yeah, really good Ali

Thanks Ali. I'll have a listen to the guitar levels and maybe have a tweak. It was a quickie this one, but came together easily, so I've not spent much time on the mix.

cheers bob i think it could be improved with the addition of some lively feedback here and there & a few refinements, but generally I enjoyed how this one seemed to just fall into place with relatively little effort, whereas some tunes seem to take a lot of wrestling to the ground! I'll be taking it to the lads in the band. M

I really like this. Only listening on lappy, but mix seems to translate well. I like the vox a lot - kind of thing I wish I could do - perfect for this style. I'm gonna d/l it for a proper listen later.

Awesome. Very clean guitars! I can't quite get my audio box working quite right, so I haven't been able to do stuff like this. I stick to vst only stuff. I'm kinda jealous. =D

Jim, Paulo, Radio, Serenarules, Shawn thanks for all your positive comments. It's not always the case that they fall into place so quickly as this - simple tune but the arrangement and sounds seemed to work at first try, no failed sonic adventures this time!I also am enjoying a nice new pair of AKG head phones which make life easier than before on the mixing.

Nice song! I like that texture the elec piano(?) is giving. Mix sounds good except i can't hear any bass. Beautiful drumming.

thanks NoHow - the elec piano sound is actually a harpsichord - not sure why but I just really wanted a harpsichord on this. It's unusual for me to unerdo the bass, usually I have the opposite problem. There is no bass gtr at all in the verses, but a fairly overdriven one joins the gtrs in the chorus parts. I may need to look at the levels & EQ if it's not coming through.
