Very nice. This is a "new" sub genre style that is making a comeback in country music these days..... the Band Perry is doing a bunch of songs of similar style..... Appalachian Pop..... for lack of a better way to describe it.. I like this...and yes, it's well done also.

Thanks Herb. Tim listens to to quite a bit of country and Americana, people like Steve Earle and Rodney Crowell. He got a mando about the same time as he watched that documentary, so music and the inspiration for the lyrics came together very nicely.

...it's something I would love to do as I used to do a lot of video editing but can't seem to find the time. The time I do have is spent on the songs/recording

I must say that I really like the tremolo guitar, it works very well with this style of track. Sung very well. Nice simple song. :)
