Very nice! Love the guitar tones used on this. My only mix crit is that the main drum kit and percussion (not the L/R toms) sound like they are really far away, while the guitars sound much closer to the listener. I'd suggest going for a more cohesive mix, IMO.

Hi James, nice one! My first thought was of the Craig Chaquico album I absolutely wore out in the early '90's , just your instrumentation and mix brought it to mind - your song is a great listen, and I always appreciate and envy the clarity you have in your mixes.
I also noticed the drums seemed relegated to the back of the room, but it didn't seem a problem because I felt this is a guitar song, featuring guitar, with a special guest appearance by some guitar. Excellent guitar throughout btw so the drums were just sort of a necessary foundation for me. They're not featured in any way, are they?

That was pretty cool... I really enjoyed the change-up in the middle section from the surrounding bookends. Great way to change moods without sounding like a different tune. Great work all around from performance to mix. Oh, and the monks rock.

Lovely melodies, exquisite guitar tones, and tasty playing, as always from you, and our buddy, Bapsi did a dynamite job on the bass, too boot! Hi James, I've always liked the way you play guitar You always have a real nice tone . You always play simple tasty guitar parts that fit better than anything that would be more complex in a guitar part and you play melodic singing expressive guitar tones.... Ed's Bass playing sounds fantastic in the funky section .. all the best, Kenny
