'Snap to pool' for midi drum tracks...

I'm watching the Cakewalk TV video with Brandon and Seth, on "Larger Than Life Drums", and i noticed they made a great point - "if you just hit 'quantize' it's not going to work (without errors), and i realized i am having the same issue with E-drum midi files - midi quantize doesn't work without many errors, and it devastates buzz rolls, and the feel generally.

Is there a way in Sonar (X series) to do a similar 'pool' technique with midi drum recordings, other than printing the drum-synth to multi-track audio?
I'm guessing not, since Sonar would have to know to move all the events of a flam or a buzz roll together, but thought i should ask.
