're possibility of another x2 maintenance release

Wadr, I didn't see any meaningful response in that thread so I thought it better to extract the question I was hoping would be answered - avoiding the question is not the same as answering it. Excuses for the kitchen reference

If you DID read the other thread then you should know the answer

If 2 Cakewalk employees say there is "no news" why on earth do you expect us, the users to know any different?

Sorry, but this is just forum pollution at this point.  They could not have been any clearer that they are not going to say.  You want posts dedicated to assumptions based on nothing?

I'd agree this is a bit redundant, and the other threads have been bulleted by warfare heavily enough, and have had some very welcomed input from the grand kitchen. The only thing I agree with here is that the air is still foggy and smells a little funny. That just reminds me of San Francisco.

I think we need to just lay off the X2b thing. The points we all made are heard. I think that's the most we're going to get for now. Let's cool off and find some features in the program we haven't delved into yet.

If you peruse the huge, near 2,000 page Reference guide, I'll bet you'll find something cool in there you didn't know about. I typically do when I'm idle.

Ok, so I didn't like Ryan's response to the bug system and Locking the last thread, but ok. Let's leave this one alone. Someone lock it quick!

For whatever it's worth, I wasn't trying to jump the gun, but our responses were outlined in that other thread so it seemed like we were being toyed with. I'm sorry if I did jump the gun. Check out the thread when you do get a chance, I believe Andrew and myself explained ourselves as clearly as we could.

I'm going to lock this thread as well though, since as I mentioned elsewhere we really need to move on for now until Cakewalk has more news.
