3rd party plugins not in "insert audio effect" drop down menu after Splat 2016-11 update
I just updated to Splat 2016-11 & now all of my waves/izotope/slate/ etc, plugins do not show up in the effects bin "insert audio effect" dropdown menu or in the browser. I did a reset/rescan vst plugins, and all of my 3rd party plugins do show up in the plugin manager. When I open a previously created project (Prior to the 2016-11 update) with waves or other 3rd party plugins already active in the project, they are there and working just fine. So, I cant add any new 3rd party effects to any project. Only bundled cakewalk & BT effects show up in the browser & effects bin "insert audio effects" dropdown menu.
Update #1: I just rolled back to Splat 2016-10 and the above problem with the 2016-11 update persists so now I cannot work on my projects in Splat. the update broke something.
Update #2: I have Sonar Artist installed on the same computer & all of my 3rd party plugins do show up in the effects bin "insert audio effect" dropdown menu & in the browser. So my Splat problem has something to do with the Splat 2016-11 update. I will use Sonar Artist for now to work on projects until the problem is resolved.
Update #3 I uninstalled/reinstalled the 2016-11 update two times and did not fix the problems so I recovered my computer to a restore point I had created two days earlier and all is well using version 2016-10 again. I wont risk trying to install the new update again because I'm in the middle of a client's project. This is the first time I've ever had an issue with the rolling updates.
