    Thanks for the heads-up Steve!

I've been looking for this sale. Wish I could tell how much overlap there is between the cymbals that come with BFD2 and Eco and the Zildjian Digital Vault.  I does not appear that there is any way to audition the pieces in the Zildjian Digital Vault and I can't really tell by the descriptions.

I have been thinking about those Zildjian cymbals for a while. It's a 14GB download, dose anyone know how many files this is split into?

    Intel i7 3770K @4.4GHz, 32GB RAM, 240GB SSD System disk, 2 x 2TB and 1 x 1TB (with SSD Cache) HDD. Windows 10,  Sonar Platinum. Roland Quad Capture.

I don't have them myself but if I'm right in thinking this is the pack that was originally a pack of three that was later combined into this single pack then it could be the one I get. I'm not sure if it is though and even at twice the price that would still be cheap so I'm not quite sure.
Quite a few sonarites have them on here so hopefully someone can help us out here ?

The one kit that I absolutely love here is the cocktail kit and for £18 it's a bargain.
It has a really tight metallic feel that's great for funk but is also very versatile for much more contemporary styles
like drum & bass and dub-step.

Edit, just read the blurb and indeed it is a combination of all three so that is very cheap indeed.
Here's that blurb for you  Blurb

It's just another one of the many things that I felt put fxpansion above other companies was their attention to detail and I've not found any other site where you can audition each kit piece one at a time so yeah I agree, I was surprised not be able to audition them in their page. I have a feeling that you might have been able to with one of the older packs.

As for your overlap question I asked the same thing on the forum a while back about the XFL kit and I think the answer was something like, yes there are a few kit pieces you will already have but they will have been recorded differently with different mics and in different room so the same might be said of those DV packs

I have just realized the FXPansion shop is a bit confusing when it comes to compatibility with Eco. You can't just go on what it says on the front page. Some kits that say "Require BFD 2.1" are actually compatible with Eco when you read the details.

I am still contemplating the digital vault cymbals, but now the Taiko Percussion is on my radar too.
