Happy Birthday, this is a terrific song.  Not what I would expect to hear from Amsterdam, but roadhouse blues is universal.  Great playing and mixing all the way around.  BTW, your link doesn't work unless you delete the hash mark from the address (#).  Good luck with this, it deserves a ton of listens.

    All the best,

Thanx, Lynn !   (link corrected :)

The whole production was done in one night and half a day (wrote the "Lyrics" at the microphone in the morning)
Didn't spent much time on mixing...

Thanks again for your compliment, glad you enjoyed it! oh and  BTW, we got both kinds of music here at the 'Dam ; )

55 is the notorious speed limit sung about in such songs as Sammy Hagar's "I can't drive 55". - I am not feeling "bluesy" today, so I am relatively indifferent to this song, but it sounded pretty good.

    Hi, Daniel,

Dynamite job on this excellent blues song!  Great playing, super vocals, and a nice, clean, vintage sounding mix.  The guitar solos were smokin', and I really loved the slide solo near the end.

Fantastic job, and a belated Happy Birthday! :)

Hi Bob, foxwolfen, Old55, timidi, Freddy J, chasmcg, notnat, Lynn,

I feel I have to apologize for responding so late and briefly to your reactions on that tune.
I just started at a new job which leaves very little time at the moment for the most important:  the music ! (...what we all do to survive)
Anyway, your feedback gives me the feeling that it's worth it to activate the last bits of energy and keep on going even if I can hardly keep my eyes open.
A 55555555555 thanks for your positive response, Gentlemen!
Let's keep on rockin' ...thats what we're here for...

    Regards,
    Daniel

Really enjoyed the listen, great guitar sounds and something really fresh and energetic going on. I can never put my finger on it but this has that something that makes it jump out and make you want to listen. I turned 55 last year and I hope this year is as good for you as it was for me. It was, in fact, the year I recorded my first song. Onward and upward.

Thanx for listening, Dodsie, glad you enjoyed it!

It was the most spontaneous "production" I did so far. I didn't allow myself to mix the life out of the song this time.
Might be the way to go for the future. Waste no time. ...you know what I mean...

    Cheers,
    Daniel
