6 ins/outs?

6 ins/outs?

I know this is probably a pretty simple question for most of you but i was just looking at the new Roland interface that sonar is offering with S6 and it says that it has 6in and 6outs. Can someone tell me how that is possible because I only see 2 in's and 4 outs? I’m sure it has something to do with the firewire cable but i haven’t quite figured that out either yet. Any care to enlighten me?

    Sometimes they count the S/PDIF ins and outs--my FW410 says 4 ins and 10 outs in the specs, but that's 2 analog and 2 S/PDIF, and 8 outs + 2 S/PDIF.
    If you need 6 or more analog ins, you need a unit like the Delta1010 which has 8 analog I/O.
