6 mos between patches: where were all the quick updates????
This is very similar to last version 4 update: months of waiting for fixes to things that were fixed but not released because one "big" thing was worked on. Weekly updates would have been better. Yeah, yeah, some of the bits need to be tested with the core changes, but not all of the things on the list needed to wait. And, those little updates could have been tested and the inevitable new bugs and issues would have been revealed. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! 6 Months!! And now, no doubt, they are frantically working on X1.5 for a Holiday Season release. So we will be stuck with any new problems. J.

Last quick fix was 19th May, so just over two months. That was the fourth in a series of quick fixes, and came after the two main patch releases. I think that's an OK track record, myself. You're entitled to a different opinion, of course, but "waiting 6 months" is nowhere near to the reality.

Notice I'm WAY less involved though ;) It's a good thing I think. I'm not that enamored with forums anymore, and by taking a hiatus I realized just how draining, futile, and well -- I probably shouldn't add more adjectives lol. But nice to see you around too Jon :D And, I must say (though it's not directed at you Jon) -- for those who it is "working great" for .... go make music and use your great working product because to say "it's working great" simply injures those who it's not working great for. And instead of adding to the solutions, it just is arrogant to pound your chest.

What is not working? Very impressed with sonar and all the updates. I am running sonar 64bit, windows 7, 64bit. Quad core CPU's and 24 gb of memory. No issues, stable as a rock.

fitzj What is not working? 1. The Pro Channel turns itself on and off. (Documented on the forum with video.) 2. The Pro Channel becomes non-responsive. (Documented on the forum with video.) 3. Snap to grid changes back to measure. 4. The Tool Bar turns completely gray and all your modules disappear with the exception of the time display. (Documented on the forum with video.) 5. Trying to grab the fader on a clip does not work. 6. Track names do not show up properly in the inspector pane when Pro Channel is selected. (Documented on the forum with video.) 7. No tool bar customization. All of the above happen intermittently with the exception of #7, that one is constant. I'm running both 32 & 64 bit X1b Build 255 on an i5 Quad Core 750 w/4GB RAM Win7 Pro x64 and have experienced all of the aforementioned bugs in both 32 and 64 bit. There's more, but that's all I can remember off the top of my head right now, mainly because I run in to these on a regular basis when I'm tinkering around with X1 and they stay fresh in my mind.
