64 bit MP3 quality.

Hey guys, want to get a response on your results with the x64 MP3 add in. I originally had the Pro Audio version from years ago and requested the x64 upgrade from Cakewalk which they promptly sent me. The only problem is that the quality is terrible and I get much better results just using iTunes convertor. Anyone have a secret for making the encoder sound better?

    i dont recall having quality issues with the Cakewalk mp3 convertor.

    maybe your output setting are wrong ? compare both.. i.e. put both into say winamp.. see what bitrate they show up as .. or variable etc.

    can't comment really as I mainly export as wav whatever I'm doing then use "lame drop" after :)

    Getting a high end warbling and distortion. Settings are 128, no filters, quality 2. That's about it. Also its a single stereo file which has already been mastered.
