64-Bit VST/DXi Instruments

Can anyone recommend 64-bit VST/DXi Virtual Instruments besides TTS-1 and Coyote ForteDXi that will work and sound great with SPE 8.5 and the new X1?

I would like to think that the vast majority (if not all) 64 bit VSTi's will work fine with X1, but we won't know for sure until release. That excludes VST version 3 plugins of course, which won't be supported.

I believe DXi is 32 bit only though.

As for recommendations, what kind of music do you produce?

Basically drum/bass tracks for "Live" performance venues.  Found some really good Drum/Bass Tracks from hoofjaw and wan't to be able to render them in Sonar using a good sounding virtual instrument.  We play from contemporary to classic rock, R&B, Pop, etc.

Beatstation by Toontrack might interest you in that genre.  It's available in 64 bit.

Dave Modisette ... rocks a Purrrfect Audio Studio Pro rig.

Check out Komplete 7 by Native Instruments. Reaktor 5.5 is still 32 bit, but the rest are 64 bit and sound fantastik. Well worth the money.

After much demo testing i have settled on these:

Check out the fxpansions website for these new products Geist and dcam synth squad,
and Tone 2 For all their range although firebird is only 32bit but still worth its wait in gold, all others are 64bit
And all are really cheap but not crimping on quality and functionality, so as with me on a low budget their is no reason why you cant still have quality VST.

Then for fx worth checking out uh-bik
And lastly Sugerbytes Effextrix_But not sure if this is 64bit

I can recommend the following synths:

Lennar Digital Sylenth1 (great synth for electronic dance music)
Cakewalk Z3ta+ (great synth for electronic dance music)
Spectrasonics Omnisphere (excellent heavy duty all round synth, needs a fairly high spec computer)
Camel Audio Alchemy (excellent all round synth, 64 bit version in beta ATM, release candidate imminent)

...and the following effects are great for drum mangling and general 'glitchyness':

Sugar Bytes Effectrix (yes, it is 64 bit)
    Audio Damage Replicant

All of the above are 64 bit, and are great for general electronic dance music use (although I don't make DnB music).

    HTH

[Edit: And although I don't own it, I know that Native Instruments Komplete 7 (as mentioned above) is an excellent and HUGE all round package, which really is excellent value for money]

Have a look at Jose's "64bit" thread. There should be plenty of x64 plugs (including VSTi) that are listed there.

Thanks all for your feedback.  I will check all the information provided.  I'm not sure what will be included in X1 as far as 3rd party editions included, but I'm sure the 64-bit will work with X1.

Cakewalk Rapture is worth investing in as it comes in a 64-bit version. While it looks similar to Dimension Pro, it is a different beast altogether.

Other 64-bit plugins that are not too expensive are ElectraX and Gladiator from Tone2. Gladiator was recently released in a 64-bit version. It's more oriented towards dance music and electronica in general.

Dune from Synapse Audio is also available in a 64-bit version as are a couple other of its earlier soft synths.

I keep hoping Camel Audio will release Alchemy in a 64-bit version as it's one of my favorites and the company sells many different soundsets for it.
