65 take lanes after editing in PRV

I have been editing a simple instrument track in the PRV with Strum Sesion GS-2 and it came to the point where I now have 65 take lanes. From memory this is not normal behaviour and has only happened after the foxboro update. Anyone else experiencing something like this?

Could be Preferences > Customization > Editing "Drag and Drop" is set to "Slide Over Old To Make Room", try one of the other two settings.

Thanks Scook but not set to 'slide over old to make room'. It is selected as 'blend old with new'. However, the 'non-destructive MIDI editing' checkbox is ticked. I'm thinking this might be the problem?

For sure. I had the exact same issue and followed Scook's advice including turning off non-destructive midi editing. IF you do that you should be good to go.
