6XL to x1

Unusual for me to upgrade 6xl has been really good for me hardly had any problems with it so making a move to Studio X One was a huge jump!

Ok so now I have a few added things does it make it better. Thankfully, I still can use Sonar 6xl but I must admit it has been a welcomed change and I like the GUI. Seems to handle the dual cores well and seems lighter to run than 6XL. No dropouts! Although I did not suffer with much drop puts with 6XL.

So conclusion is I AM GLAD THAT i UPGRADED I just need to learn a bit more as there is more functionality which makes things a little easier. As it is more pleasant on the eye I feel I could spend hours using it SOnar 6XL was hard to look at so GUI is important because if I do not like the screen im looking at I will more than likely just switch off!

Never one for playing with color schemes as it reminds me of playing with toys. But if you are not thinking about upgrading 6XL is still very very good. I mentioned that I still use it but as I am learning the gotcha factor will move toward X1 (STUDIO that is)

So do yourself a favour if you want a few more bells and whistles, if not well you're not missing out as (how can you miss out on something you havent got)

It's still Sonar and works much the same way although using STudio One (Presonus) there are some similarities. I have tried to make X1 look and feel the same as Studio One which makes me happier working in that display mode.
