7.1 update download Problem

Tried to download from FTP site and get maybe 10 megs to70 megs and download stalls. I get this all the time when I try to download. Once it took me about 30 tries to download some ableton software. Now the FTP site says I've use my max down loads? what download? Now I can't even connect to the FTP when I click my link from my cakewalk email. Anyone else have this problem.

Nope, no problem downlaoding the updates.

Call TS tomorrow and they may be able to reset your access if it doesn't clear in an hour or so.

I'm thinking it's my crappy ATT broadband. I've heard of Comcast discouraging file sharers by intermittently cutting of connections. I seem to always have this problem. New computor, new router/modem, tech checked the line the same thing horrible time downloading anything.
    thanks

I have comcast and have never had that problem.

Transitioning from RoadRunner to Comcast got me into the pain you are having though. TW kept disconnecting me and I had to keep logging into outlook. It would not keep a solid connection. The outlook password prompt would always come up every couple hours. I know they did it on purpose to hose the users who were switching to Comcast.

There are download managers you can use that should be able to resume your download. I don't know if that will work with the Cakewalk FTP/download server or not though. Good luck with the download.
