8.5 won't recognise new a/d

Got a new Alesis usb mixer. The computer recognises it but Sonar 8.5 Producer doesn't. It doesn't appear in the track Input menu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    What Windows? 7? 8? 10?
    What driver mode are you using in Options --> Audio --> Advanced tab?
    Did you select the device in Options --> Audio --> Drivers?
