Sonar 8.5.3 32 Bit
Just some of the included extras made the upgrade worth while for me.
Works pretty solid. I have expierienced a few crashes, but I had them in 7 & 8 also.
Getting alot of use out of SD3, the new impulses in perfect space, the vocal strip, as well as the percusion strip. If you already do not own Dimension Pro, even with some of the problems with some of the patches, this is a great synth to have, with over 2gb of material it is a heavy hitter. Note: I play keys like a 3 year old. Still sounds great. My least favorite tool is beat scape, I just don't use it.

8.5.3 is great until you use dimension pro. It will turn off after you have recorded with it. Don't know why. However, this only happened after the 8.5.3 other than that it has run really stable for me. I use the 32 bit   version of Sonar because I did not want to lose my other VST's. Try it out and see if Dimensions Pro just stops playing.

Seems like the 32bit version doesn't have the same issue as the 64bit?

I guess you misread my post.  I AM currently using 8.5.3.  I WAS using 8.3 UNTIL the last release.

...and the rest applies.
