It was all sampled with a Numark TTUSB turntable with the included Numark GT stylus.

    Sounds like it too.

No wonder the guy giving them away says

"...it was just a folder of interesting samples I accumulated and set aside for myself while I was working in digitizing my vinyl collection, but after a while it became apparent I wasn’t using them..."

It seems like a useful vinyl effects collection would include period appropriate discs played on period appropriate gear in acknowledgement that all the parameters come together to provide a sonic cue that refers to a specific time and place.

I appreciate the freebie, but I find the vinyl plugin to be more useful.

Thanks Larry for another great recommendation. The work you do is good and well appreciated from my end for sure. I have picked up so many good things through this thread.

The Vinyl collection is very useful but represents only a very small part of the overall free library. If you download all the free libraries it is over 1.7G of sounds and they are absolutely excellent and can be used in many many situations. He has given away a huge resource of high quality produced sounds. Highly recommended.
