A -800 PRO, V-Studio 100, old MIDI equip. how to hook up to laptop?

I was looking for an answer to: 2 controllers & midi setup. I guess I should have posted it here. (Sorry, new to the forum... ) For more detailed info the thread I posted in the wrong section "Get Started": Set Up questions Laptop with X1 Producer, V-Studio 100, A-800 Pro and old midi equipment.
 
I have a NEW ADK i7 laptop with X1 Producer 64, V-Studio 100, A-800 PRO, Old MIDI modules dasiychained IN's to a THRU on a Yamaha DX7II-D as a controller, then "was" hooked up IN/OUT to my old B&W 486 laptop.
 
How do I utilize (hook up) the A-800 Pro to use as a controller keyboard for audio (i.e. Dimension Pro, Gartitan) along with the V-Studio 100 and MIDI IN/OUT from the Yamaha keyboard?
 
Am I guessing correctly to hook up the A-800 PRO and V-Studio 100 to the USB in the laptop? Where would the MIDI IN/OUT go, V-Studio 100 or A-800 PRO? I imagine it should be the V-Studio 100?
