A Christmas Tale
Here's a little tune I wrote and recorded over the festive period. With only three acoustic instruments, it hopefully wasn't too much of a challenge to get the mix right. The octave mandolin plays the tune, Irish bouzouki on accompaniment, and an acoustic bass guitar in the second half.

I'm not sure what he means by "nice banjo", but it is a nice song. Nothings gets in the way of anything else, and the mix works nicely. Well done.
All the best,
Lynn

Very pretty tune Bill, I like the blend of instruments you have here. I could imagine Kate Rusby singing to this.

Thanks for your kind comments. The tune came really quickly from just playing the first four notes - D, F#,A,E the rest all flowed from there. The little technical challenge for me was climbing up to the 10th fret and back whilst holding the rhythm. Kept me amused over Christmas!
