A City Surrounded By Reality
It is that time of year when our legislature is in session and we Floridians wait expectantly to see what they are going to do to us this year. Tallahassee is actually a great town with good people but it gets a bit weird during the legislative session. Anyway, this song is just for fun and I hope that it might give you a bit of a giggle. Any comments, crit's, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! A Town Surrounded By Reality http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=963481

Hi James. I very much appreciate your taking the time to listen and comment. Hey Adrian. I'm glad you listened even though it is not your genre. Thanks for the kind comments. Hi Wookiee. Yes indeed, I did have fun doing this song. I used to have to there quite a bit. Work and grants required me to meet with some great public employees at the Dept. of Education, Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, Dept. of Environmental Protection, etc. However, Tallahassee does get a bit weird when the Legislature is in session. Thanks for your kind comments. Thank you Bjorn! I kinda thought the title might be descriptive. Hey David. Ah, you must have spent some time in Tallahassee. The city has some good things going for it and FSU is one of them. I say this being a proud USF graduate.

Pride is a cloak for shame. I we ent enere as well. That's where I learned poly ticks. They did a poll while I was there asking to rank reasons for going to school. 40% 's number one reason was to find a mate! Alas I remain unmarried which makes me an odd fellow at my age. In your 50's without a wedding ring on people think you're damaged. (Er me,not you)

Freddy, this is the saddest blues song I've heard you do! I can feel the angst coming out of every pore. If you keep going at this rate, you'll never run out of things to write about. Congrats, my friend.

Freddy has the Tallahassee blues. Good thing too, cause at least they have a sense of humor.

Like the guitars and the bass and the vocals and the drums. Nice and tight rhythmically. Have you tried losing the sustained horns underneath the vocals, or maybe lowering their volume? Might get less in the way of the vocal fun. Just a thought. When the horns are doing stacatto parts, they do a treat. Like your style, man. -Tom
