Fat FM synths and reverberating pads (hearing Tangerine Dream), glitchy drums (I'm hearing some Aphex Twin in there). Enjoyed this track! Nice work.

Someone is going to say something about machine gun snares, me not a word, very upbeat Adrian.

Inspiring. I've got all these Kontakt libraries that I think of as "horror/sci-fi fx" but have a hard time figuring out what to do with them. Your song has given me inspiration!

I'm currently exploring a product called Collision FX from Sound Yeti. I'd love to hear what you could do with it. I'd think it would be right up your alley.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Thanks Walt. Tangerine Dream and the late Edgar Froese are my main listening choice and glad it shows in this tune. All synth work came from Omnisphere, not sure what I would do without that one.

Thanks Bitflipper. I must admit most of my spot FX are from Horror sample packs that I picked up from Soundmorph. I also have a few space orientated ones from BlueZoneAudio and it is amazing what you can find in these packs. If they are too bright in sound then I put them through SoundToys effects like FilterFreak.

I will check out Collision FX, although I am watching my pennies as I have just bought a new car.

Cool tune Adrian! I particular like the lead sound that comes in @ 1:25. The earlier lead sound could have used a bell-like sound layered over the top for some added definition, IMO. You did a good job mixing things up as you went.

Thanks Dan, not a bad shout about the bell-like sound I may take a look at that over the weekend.

New mix uploaded with an added bell type lead and I've backed the general reverb off a touch.

I think the melody stands out a little better with the bell sound, but I might have gone up an octave (with the bell) and brought the other lead sound forward a bit more to blend it better. It's tough to mix from afar, so these are just things I think when I hear it. What's important is, do you like it?

Dan

Thanks, Dan. I have put he bell lead up an octave like you suggested and it seems to give that section a nice percussive quality. Also noted one of my atmospheric introduction tracks was still aimed at my headphone channel so disappeared in the original bounce, it's back now
