A Forum Section For New Users!

Don't take this the wrong way. Would it not be easier for new users to have a separate forum divided into sections where threads regarding the installations and various other newbie questions could be addressed. I feel for these guys that are brand new to Sonar or computer based recording. It seems that it would be more beneficial to them as well as quicker to have their own custom made forums to deal with the easiest of problems. Anything more advanced could be found in the mid to advanced user forums. I am so glad to have a place like this to help me out, but I have years of experience. These guys are having some major issues grasping the problems involved in setting up and installing X1. It just seems that a more focused area on new users would be very beneficial. Just Wondering! I hope the newbies don't take offence. Was just trying to help. I love being able to help someone here. Lord knows, You all have helped me so much.

Ya know, I've seen this type of request before and it sounds reasonable and looks good on paper, however, those "specialized" forums are usually a lonely place with lots of tumble weed blowing around.  The more experienced folks, the ones that can actually help, are just not likely to visit "Newbie Town."  The "real" action is right here and here is where you're more likely to get an answer.

P.S.  It's like that on almost any website you visit.  One of the forums is always the "hottest."

They could put the "Get Started" forum at the top of the list so at least people would be more likely to see it, if not use it. I've never understood that.
