A Great Evening

At Roger's invitation, the 4 of us met and had a really enjoyable evening last night in Bristol.

Pictured are me, Steve (Strummy), Roger (lawajava) & Garry (Kiosk Project)

In the absence of a selfie stick, this was the best I could do.

Hours and hours of unfettered conversation. Even more fun than I had anticipated. SteveStrummerUK, Bristol_Jonesy, and The Kiosk Project having a lark. Sparked some ideas, recalled others. Great evening!

Is that hairdo IN at the moment in the UK? I'm interested because I keenly followed the British styles already in the sixties. Groooveee! You sure look like brothers!

Shouldn't that say that when in Bristol, do as Bristolians do?

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Straummy: I do, I probably play it more than guitar these days.

Colin: So how come you don't play bass in any of the forum collaboration projects?

Straummy: Pfft.... me old mate Bapu has a bit of a monopoly on that gig. For nigh on 3.9376739873 years, I though "Bass by Bapu" was the name of every choon in the Songs forum.

Bapu - we did bring up that you had made a trip over this way several years ago. So you were not forgotten.

But mostly if we mentioned you it was about your bass. Not about your post count.

But seriously, we had hours and hours of discourse over far ranging topics. A memorable night. I was just glad the guys made the effort to get together.
