A Little Advice Please

Hi,
Just got a new Mackie Pro FX8 desk today, can I just run the 1/4" jacks from main outs 
to the inputs ( L- Line - R ) in my V-Studio 20, I like the guitar effects in it, or will I
have to use the Mackie desk instead of the V-Studio 20, and just use the effects
on that ?

    You should be able to use it for its effect only and/or just use it without the V-Studio. What ever you prefer.

    Just do not hook it up to your pc, as this could cause problems. Its not good to have 2 different interfaces connected and working at the same time. Clocking issues will arise and your opening up to a whole lot of potential problems.
