At last, a country song that I like. The production is spot on for this song, and the vocal performance was very well done. I've yet to hear a bad mix from you; I wish I had your ears.

Good job on this one Scotty. Actually gave me a bit of a grateful dead vibe.

Thanks for the warning, Scotty I listened anyway. While current country music sort of sets my teeth on edge, I do enjoy that classic country swing. Perhaps reminiscent of the Grateful Dead, but probably because they borrowed so much from this style. Very old school. A tasty performance, and nicely mixed.

Well hot grannies -- a tear in your beer country song. I love the retro feel to this number! Great lead work and it has that country rhythm carrying it along all the way. Oh ya --- great production also!! Freddy J

Radio, Thanks buddy! Billy does a fine job on vox for sure. I try to keep my reverb subtle in most mixes, but it depends upon the type of song. Lynn, Thank you very much! I wish I had my ears some days too. Robby, Thank you so much for listening. Glad you liked it. Tim, Thanks! I hope it will be a hit some day for Billy's sake. I don't listen to the radio much either. RobertB, Thank you for your nice critique. Freddy, Thanks! I appreciate that you appreciate this kind of stuff. Frank, Thank you very much! My squashed guitar is still in recovery after spending a few days in ICU.

Classic country sound. I grew up on this. Great tones. Great vocals. Love the guitar. Love the piano, but it's a tad to fortissimo on my left channel.... just a touch. I could use a little more volume on the harmony vox. Honky Tonk Heaven. Catchy hook. Love it! Daryl

Markybro, Thank you very much! You're way too kind. Daryl, Thank you for you ears. I value your opinion so I listened on my 5.1 system and I found that the harmony vox were right where they belong; in the background slightly below the lead vocal. Could be the system helping to spread them out a bit. Rimshot, Thank you very much! I'm happy that we fit itnto your world. Thanks for giving this one a spin! Thatsastrat, Thank you for listening! I'm glad that so many folks enjoy this old style. (Believe it or not, I never cared for it)

Cool... I can see the dance floor packing out.... nothing gets them on the floor like a country 2 step. Good song.... my only crit, I'd bump the vox a few db higher. Think about how Merle Haggard would have sung this..... you would be able to hear him..... I felt the vox was just too far back in the mix. Aside from that..... good old country song.

Well you did warn us, but I listened anyway ! Bit too country for my tastes, as I suspected it almost certainly be after the warning, but hey, you're always good value for sound quality, so always something to be learned. Best thing I can say is that you all make it sound effortless which I always think is the mark of someone who knows what they're doing.
