A Profound Nonsense of Relief

It's done. I don't want to spam the forum, but this group has been so kind and supportive to keep inquiring about a personal venture of mine that I wanted to share the gnus. No, it's not an April Fool's joke, even though I Am.

For those who wanted to know, the new book is now available. For those who didn't want to know, don't worry about it. There's nothing to see here.

Here are more details... http://ubiquitousbubba.wordpress.com/2016/04/01/a-profound-nonsense-of-relief/

Thanks to all of you who have encouraged, cajoled, prodded, and kicked me to get busy and get it done. I appreciate it very much. This book was both painful and fun to write at the same time. I learned more about physics and various theories of time than I wanted to know, but I have discovered gnu ways to sound pompous and annoying as a result. I am planning a third novel in the series, but I think I'm going to turn my attention in the short term to finishing a few short stories that have been steadily losing their patience. Thanks again.

Yayyyy,  Congrats, Well Done....

(and all other remarks with a similar meaning, stated in a sincere, but slightly strained manner of forced, fake surprise as I am already in possession of above referenced book and have even made it as far as the 6th sentence (and a very good one it is too) (almost up to the standard of the 4th sentence but definitely way above the 5th))

The 5th sentence tended to struggle with self-esteem issues and blamed his parents for all of his problems. Feel free to roll your eyes at it.

Thanks, folks. The third book is...well...it's got stuff planned. I know some of the major plot points and roughly how it will end. (I can't uninstall NagBapLit...)

Craigb, I'll get you a link to a .pdf version. I'll PM you.

James, that depends on your definition of "is."

I can definitely recommend the paper version over the .pdf version. Much more effective against psionic fish.

Reminds me of those annoying air-blown hand dryers in most restrooms now.  "Saves trees from being made into paper towels."  BS!  It takes FAR more natural resources to power the thing.  Why don't they just admit that they don't want to deal with installing and cleaning up towel waste instead?

I had to toss Bapu a bone without maligning his character by trapping him in the book. There's also an homage to a certain Beagle. I have too much respect for folks here to impugn their dignity by putting words in their mouths. That's their job.
